Why Was I On The Receiving End, ALWAYS?

Dear Agony Bunny,
hi, i am 23 now and the reason i am writing to you now is i think that on some subconscious level there are some effects of the peer pressure and bullying i recieved from other girls in school. i was always the shy one rather innocent. i always seemed dumb when it came to dressing up well and looking good. i never made a attempt to be the most sort after girl. but it was a lot of my "friends" who used to call me things that was not required, and ignore me. i am talking like childhood friends... your good friends. And now when i see them it is wierd. i cant talk normally like before because it really hurt the way they treated me at that time. i was made fun of in public... this girl even embarassed me in public by pulling open the top of my dress to check if i was wearing a bra infront of guys i didnt even know. right now i can genuinely make friends with other girls.am i alrite? this was a long time back in school but i cant help the grudge. why was it always me on the recieving end?

Dear Lilly Flower,
Kids around the world are exposed to bullying everyday no matter how strong are the rules around. Some kids take it in a good way and some take it in a bad way. Good way is when you take the bullying in a healthy way which helps you in your future. For example, when you work and have a bad boss, you can certainly cope up with his wrath. Bad way is when you take the bullying in a unhealthy way and it usually ends up in a traumatic childhood. Fortunately enough, you took it in a way which is neither bad nor good. Hence, you have some bad childhood memoirs and now you have overcame your fears to some extent. Answering your questions, you are a perfectly normal human being with emotions in the right quantity. And it's not always you on the recieving end, we all go through stuffs like this atleast once in our lifetime. So, try to forget the past and move on with your life, get new friends and never let yourself down.
